My name is Alex Murray and the name of my business is Transform Alloys. The main purpose of the business is powder coating, whether it is alloy wheels, gates, railings or galvanised steel.

Although the business is only recently formed I have over 25 years in the automotive spray painting industry, and while working in different parts of this field, I recognised a gap in the market and a growing need for a specialised workshop dealing with alloy wheel refurbishment at sensible affordable prices.

During my research prior to opening I found a need in other areas so I have as part of this set up a powder coating plant which can cater for other areas of the industry.

For the past 2 years I have researched the field of powder coating and the benefits to the client which include; long lasting durable hard wearing finishes on many products, specifically alloy wheels, gates and railings etc. In addition anything that is subject to hard wear and the elements.

In September 2006 I opened the doors to the public to offer an individualised service to each client. As I am a small business I can ensure quality work at affordable prices in a realistic timeframe. As most powder coating plants cater for the industrail sector, I can cater for the individual.
