An estimated 40,000 basalt columns make up the Giant’s Causeway and thousands of tourists from around the world visit every year.
The town of Bushmills, home of the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery, is 2 miles away. Continuing west towards Londonderry are the towns of Portstewart and Portrush and the famous Dunluce castle. Alternatively heading east along the coast is Carrickarede rope bridge, Ballintoy, and the towns of Cushendun and Cushendall situated amongst the famous and beautiful ‘Glens of Antrim’.
