Pulp - The Art Paper Specialist


Pulp specialises in high quality international artists papers from around the world.

Pulp opened on June 15 2007 in the city of Newry.  The business caters for anybody who has an interest in being creative, from the budding amateur, to the student, to the professional artist and designer.  The nature and culture of the business is focused on paper, how paper is made and the different surfaces and textures created by paper-mills around the world.
 
Pulp was established in Newry because it was felt that a paper-shop was very much needed and the nearest cities where paper could be bought was either Belfast / Dublin, Manchester and London.  After working in London for 10 years as manager of the UKs largest paper store, the owner of Pulp, on returning to Northern Ireland realised that a business stocking premium art papers was required.
 
About 80% of the papers stocked @ Pulp are exclusive to Northern Ireland.  Pulp is also the sole stockist in Ireland for all Nepalese /Himalayan / Japanese papers.
 
All papers come from the leading paper mills in the UK, France, Italy, Egypt, Northern India and Japan.
