Nelsons FarmHouse Foods

Nelsons Farmhouse Foods started in July 2007 and is run by myself,  Mervyn Nelson from my  premises near Rosslea Village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.  My mother has run a small but successful business for 10 years prior to this but she insists I take over and grow the business as I have gained so much knowledge and experience in the Food Industry. 


I started Nelsons Farmhouse Foods from my parent's home in Rosslea to provide high quality foods for local shops. I now offer FREE delivery to Retail shops and homes anywhere within a 30-mile radius from Rosslea.  At the moment I stock around 7 different products, My speciality is in Jam, Marmalade, Apple and Rhubarb tarts, which are all made from my mother recipe.


From my experience from Loughry College and many different food producers I take pride in only selling high quality products.   I believe that what separates a truly exquisite food from an acceptable food certainly isn’t its packaging, or marketing, or a promotional budget with the clout to persuade millions of consumers it’s good.  The proof of the pudding, quite literally, remains in the eating.  However, I know that our customers also want value for money, so we are committed to keeping our prices as low as possible.
