Falls from height continue to be the single biggest cause of death in the workplace, accounting for around 68 deaths per year; and the second most common cause of injury to employees with 3,996 cases reported during 2001/2002 period. It is estimated that 50% of those fatal injuries resulted from falls from height. The Health and Safety Executive has produced a guidance document HSG 33 entitled "Health and Safety in Roof work.”

This document states that: "...the preferred method of securing the fall hazard in industrial roof work is the use of new technology safety nets." Safety netting can be supplied and installed to suit all sizes of bays and the company operates on a nationwide basis with full insurance cover.

All nets are manufactured and installed in accordance with guidelines of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), complying fully with working at height legislation. Due to the nature of the works, a Risk Assessment, Method Statement, Health and Safety Policy and any further documentation will be completed, if requested, in order to detail exactly how NCM operatives will carry out the installation in complete compliance with HSE requirements.
