Lifecare Ambulance Service commenced in 2004 to provide additional patient transport services to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. In addition to this service we also provide private patient transport and medical cover for public and private events.

Our Ambulances

Our ambulances carry on the colour theme from the lifecare uniform with our name in distinctive red lettering. Equipment on board enables us to manage every eventuality from spinal patients to chronic illnesses and the disabled to maternity case. Each ambulance is well maintained and kept to a high standard to provide a reliable and comfortable means of transport for the injured and ill patient.

Staff

Lifecare staff are trained at two levels as First Aiders and Ambulance Technicians. Whilst providing a professional service we also put emphasis on the personal approach to each patient, thus making each person on board feel comfortable and at ease though they may be in pain or feeling unwell.

Insurance

The company is comprehensively insured through the Medical Indemnity Register for malpractice and public indemnity. Each ambulance is also insured through Autoline insurance company.
