About Retreats

Our retreats begin with the ferry crossing to the island. The ferry leaves the west shore of Lough Erne and sails east to Inish Rath. The passengers disembark and walk up through the woodlands to an elegant Victorian country house. Our guests settle down, enjoy a light dinner, register for the retreat, and then there is an introduction to the workshop of the specific retreat.

Guests coming from a distance and who (unavoidably) can’t make the ferry at 7.00pm can be facilitated with a later crossing.

Our newly refurbished guestrooms have a meditative atmosphere. Shared accommodation is standard on retreats. However single and en suite twin rooms are available, but should be booked early. Each workshop is facilitated by carefully chosen and experienced men and women with a love for their field. Over the course of each workshop there are sufficient breaks where attendees are free to take a stroll through the woodlands, relax and breathe in the pure fresh air. Inish Rath is situated in a nature reserve – an EU designated Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) due to the abundance of indigenous flora and fauna.

Either for a weekend or for five days a retreat on Inish Rath marks a small milestone in ones life. For many it’s a time never to forget.
