Krafty Sew 'n' Sew are a family run business and is fronted by husband and wife team John and Diane Guthrie. First opened in December 2003 and was the dream child of Diane who for many years had wanted to run her own business. The reason why Krafty Sew 'n' Sew was established is because Diane who is a very keen cross stitcher was experiencing difficulty in accessing DMC threads and kits locally and found that many of her craft working friends were also having the same problem. It also turned out, after some research that many of the crafts were no longer being taught in the local schools and had not been for about three generations and unless this was rectified then many of these crafts would be lost forever. It was at this point that John and Diane decided to open Krafty Sew 'n' Sew not only as a craft retail outlet but also to have in-house a teaching facility where crafts could be taught to those who were interested in learning new skills and hobbies.

Krafty Sew 'n' Sew is located in Glendermott Valley Business Park just of the main Londonderry to Belfast road about three miles from the City centre and can be reached quite easily by a short bus ride or by car or even by foot for the more energetic.

Krafty Sew 'n' Sew offers a warm welcome and free car parking to anyone who wishes to visit.
