Kinesiology - Complimentary Healthcare
I went for a treatment with a kinesiologist and was so impressed that I decided I wanted to train as a kinesiologist and provide the help which I was given.
I loved the fact that all aspects - structural, emotional, nutritional (including food sensitivities) and energy functions - are used to treat the individual and it is recognised that everyone is different, therefore each treatment is different.
Kinesiology is an unobtrusive complimentary health care which pinpoints imbalances in the person by muscle testing, usually with arms/legs. Each muscle relates to an organ in the body, therefore enabling the practitioner to pinpoint where the imbalance is occurring and to access what is causing the imbalance, whether it is structural, emotional, nutritional or energy functions, and treat accordingly.
There is no 'standard' treatment - it is very much an individualistic approach, therefore the treatment is specific to the individual and their specific stress and how it manifests in the body.
Coordination, memory, reading and writing difficulties can also be greatly helped with kinesiology, using simple, fun exercises, e.g. cross crawl, ascertaining any food sensitivities in the individual, which may be causing stress and sometimes nutritional supplements, to 'feed' the brain and body.
