I am self-employed as a Musician and a Private Tutor, teaching music and philosophy

Currently, I am performing as a piano soloist and in jazz combos. I am available for concerts, corporate events, weddings etc. Give me a call for details.

My Background

After working through my piano grades, as a teenager I joined a pop band. We had some success in the local radio charts and made a video with the BBC.

Since then (for the last twenty years or so) I have performed and recorded everything from Folk to Blues to Black Metal. I have written music for the theatre, and art installation, and served my time as a studio session musician, playing piano, keyboards, guitar and bass, and producing.

I have an MA in Music Composition and my compositions (for flute, viola, clarinet, piano, trumpet, string quartet etc) have been played by internationally renowned musicians.

I have a Ph.D in Philosophy, and I have been teaching at university degree level for fifteen years.
