About Us
Creating information that communicates
We live in a world where information is seen as a commodity and how it is presented is important to business. The presentation of marketing and technical documentation is particularly important as research has shown that product documentation creates an initial impression that can colour the customer's perception of both the product and the manufacturer/supplier.
Many companies create unnecessary problems by creating poor documentation. For example, if:
· user documentation is unhelpful, customers cannot use the product effectively and increase the burden on technical support
· specifications are unclear, time and money are often wasted
· procedures are inadequate, work is not done correctly
· potential customers visit web sites and cannot find the information they need they may go elsewhere
· engineers/programmers produce the documentation it may well not be written with the user in mind. In addition, their time could be more profitably spent doing other things
If you feel that your documentation can be improved then I can help. I am a professional technical communicator with over 20 years experience producing a variety of documentation
