We are here to promote the Lee Sykes National Centre in Northern Ireland.

The Lee Sykes National Centres for Conductive Education is the only centre of it's type in the UK. The centre was founded by the parents of Lee Skyes who wanted him to live as normal a life as possible after being born with cerebral palsy.

The Lee Sykes Centres currently cater for approximately 120 children and is proving to be highly successful. There is no charge for it's services, and it is intended that the services offered by the centre remain free and open to all children with motor disabilites.

Conductive education enables children with nerological disorders to realise their full potential, and enjoy some personal independence. It is a system of motivating the children out of the passivity that the lack of control over their bodies has encouraged over the years. The Lee Sykes National Centres employs seven Hungarian Peto Institue trained, conductors.
