George Harris Books established in 1976, was the realisation of a lifetime's passionate interest in antiquarian literature and books.  George's particular area of expertise The First World War, developed from his love of  Henry Williamson's writings of  his experiences in the trenches.  Over the past 30 years this has expanded to encompass all British Regimental histories of conflicts across 3 centuries and 5 continents.

A founder of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA), George has recently been made an honorary member, for his services to the association. 

George Harris Books is set to diversify and expand with the involvement of the next generation in this truly family business.
