Connor Burns began his interest in photography through the work of his father.  With the tuition, both formal and informal, Connor Burns soon had the photography bug and from a young age always had a camera in his hand.  Now Burns Photography is looking to take his business into the next generation.

Burns Photography holds an extensive collection of old glass photographic plates showing Castlewellan and its surrounding areas prior to the turn of the last century.  Prints of these are available on request.  Examples of these and other work can be found on display as far afield as New York, Madrid and South Africa.

Wedding photography has become a focus of Burns Photography striding to change from traditional film based photography to the modern digital approach. Both are offered to customers with digital back up provided with the traditional option. A wide selection of wedding albums and a photo-DVD is also available. A focus of the work is a keen attention to detail throughout the day to ensure the minimum of stress to the bridal party and that the often tight time-table is adhered to.(It is not only important to get to church on time but also the reception). 

Other areas covered are environmental and formal portraits including a wide range of subjects from family shots to children and events.Unique personalised calenders can be made up to the client's own specifications. Along with this there is a willingness to accommodate clients wherever possible and to work with them in a professional manner with emphasis on making them as relaxed as possible to create the best finished product we can.
