Childminding by Rachel is a self-employed carer who works from home and is reigisterd with the social services. She can care for 6 children under the age of 12, only 3 of  these may be under the age of 5 and usually only 1 under the age of 1.

Annnual inspections are carried out by social services on both Rachel's home and herself as a childminder. All adults living in the house have had background checks performed on them by the police. We treat security as a top priority as nothing is more important to us here than the safety of the children.

Rachel is a a member of NICMA (Notheren Ireland Childminding Association). This entitles her to recieve guidance and training from this organisation.

Childminding by Rachel have flexibility in the hours. Obviously we understand that childcare isn't a 9-5 job. At Childminding by Rachel we not only provide care for the children but we provide it in a fun, homely environment. The children will always be learning here in new ways.

Not only are the hours flexible but Childminding by Rachel can also often offer after school pick-up services.
We pride ourselves on developing a close relationship with families as the children grow up. We are also eligible for the childcare element of the working tax credit.

My opening hours are:

7.30am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
