FUN, FUNCTIONAL, FITNESS Soccerworkout™ is a circuit class based upon the movement patterns and physical demands made upon the body during a game of football. The class is effectively a game without the need for ball skill or physical contact which, makes it a safe and effective form of exercise suitable for all ages and levels of ability all set to upbeat music. Soccerworkout is currently being run in local primary schools with great success and generating fun fitness, heres what some of the children have to say:- I really enjoyed soccerworkout each Monday and felt it was brilliant. It was well organised with cards at each workout station. I learned lots of new skills like fast feet on the ladder and also how to improve my thigh muscles. I also enjoyed the music. Shirley had always got music on and she taught us how to do the warm up, it was good. We got into partners to do lots of workout stations, like skipping, sit ups, ladder, weights and Kwik Kik speedball. We improved our weight lifting and skipping, some boys could hardly skip at the start now they are good. We all had a great time we are sad to see it leave. I found soccerworkout a really interesting after school project. We done lots of fun things like the ladder and space hoppers. I think it improved my fitness because Shirley taught us lots of new stretches. I love soccerworkout because it keeps us fit. I love the warm up, I love it because I love sport. I like the ladder and the Kwik Kik footballs, and the weights they are my most favourite thing.
