Blackthorn Joinery is a small business run by partners Neil Todd and Colin Johnston. Together we have 33 valuable years of experience in the joinery trade. We manufacture a range of timber products for both the commercial and private sector.


The business has been going now for 12 years, trading under Blackthorn Joinery, though in January 2006 partners Neil and Colin bought the business after working there for 6 years.


A key feature of our business which may be different to our competition is that we find that our clients enjoy a one to one relationship and therefore a much more personal service, from design to the finished product.


Between us we have 10 years experience in shopfitting which has involved working on major projects in the Republic of Ireland. Our latest fit out has been Clements coffeeshop in the students union of Queens University Belfast.


We have also fitted out a much talked about hi-tech house in Kircubbin Newtownards called Quay house, which was showcased on UTV live recently. This work is featured in the accompanying photos.
