Bilbo’s Bistro
The latest food venue to arrive on the scene of Castlewellan is Bilbo’s Bistro. Located within the main street under the shades of the Mountains of Mourn. Bilbo’s Bistro is family owned and run and aptly named after the late but well known local man Bilbo Middleton.
Bilbo’s Bistro is a new refurbished building, emphasis being that keeping in touch with the characteristics of the town. Renovated and decorated to a high standard for customer comfort. Boasting a quality restaurant and a kitchen worthy of a Michelin star chef. Bilbo’s Bistro style of cuisine will be modern leaning towards traditional home cooking (like momma used to make).
Bilbo’s Menu is extensive, varied and designed by Ann Marie (head chef) to suite all types of customers. So if you are looking for a mouth watering open prawn, succulent pasta, spicy Cajun panini or a traditional lunch special (steak and Guinness pie with a light crispy pastry topping), why not call in at Bilbo’s Bistro and then finish off with a nice home made dessert washed down with a good hot cup of Bewley's coffee, cappuccino or latte and all at affordable prices.
Then relax and enjoy the ambiance and cosines of this new Bistro. For the health consciousness and well being of our customers the family have decided to make Bilbo’s Bistro a non smoking facility.
