The owner Barbara Mcilroy comes from a family of beauty therapists and has won a medal of excellence from City & Guilds for her work. One of only 72 people from all of the UK and Ireland.

Beautique offers its clients an extensive range of treatments ranging from waxing to eyelash tinting and perming. Eyelash perming transforms the lashes without the need for curlers or mascara.

Also available is electrolysis, undertaken with the revolutionary Apilus system. Apilus is an advanced electrolysis technology. Hair removal is more efficient, more comfortable and more rapid than any other epilation technique.

Other treatments available include manicures, pedicures and Bio Sculpture Gel nails, with the salon specialising in Nail Art.

Pampering treatments include facials, massage and body exfoliations.

False tan is applied by SunFX. This tan offers a natural looking tan which works with the client’s skin pigmentation and will last from 5-7 days.

Beautique regularly hosts monthly semi-permanent make-up clinics, where clients can avail of having either eyeliner top, bottom or both applied, eyebrows or lip-liner applied. This is an exciting new procedure, in which carefully applied permanent pigment is placed into the dermal layer of the skin which will last for up to 5 years. This makeup is perfectly safe and has been approved by doctors.

Beautique offers monthly clinics from Collagenics who offer aesthetic facial treatments, such as line smoothing – botox, lip enhancements, facial shaping and skin resurfacing in the form of peels.
