My name is Barbara Kane and I am the proprietor of Barbara Kane Childminding.

I decided to become self-employed as a Registered Childminder after the birth of my daughter, as I found it difficult to find suitable childminding facilities in the local area. I have always enjoyed looking after children and childminding was therefore an ideal career choice.

I am now a Registered Childminder through Causeway Health and Social Services and I am also a full member of the Northern Ireland Childminding Association (NICMA) and operate my business to their guidelines.

I target my business towards parents with children of a pre-school age, offering a warm and friendly service in a homely environment.
