At Aisling Daycare we provide the highest quality of care for all children within a unique learning environment. Our fully qualified and experienced staff will promote your child’s independence, confidence and self-esteem by creating an environment where they will feel secure and have the opportunity to develop their own ideas and make decisions and choices.
Safety
Your child’s safety and well-being is of paramount importance to us. • We maintain the correct staff : child ratios as recommended by Social Services • All our staff have gone through the rigorous Vetting Procedure. • All staff are qualified to at least NVQ Level II Early Years Care & Education (or equivalent) • All staff are qualified in First Aid and have received Child Protection Training • All visitors to Aisling must sign in upon arrival • We operate a strict Child Collection Policy • We have installed a CCTV system in each of our Playrooms and Babies Sleep Room
Pick up Service
From September 2006, we offer a pick up service for Nursery School children and provide afternoon care;
By January 2007, we will also offer a school pick-up service for Primary School children (Primary 1 through to Primary 7), subject to availability. Your child will be brought to Aisling and given the freedom and opportunity to relax and unwind after a busy day at school. Our staff will be available to assist with homework and offer a wide range of suitable activities. We offer a full daycare service when schools are closed at your request.
Nutrition
Aisling Daycare provides a varied and healthy menu - mealtimes are a social occasion, where your child will be encouraged rather than forced to eat. Healthy Eating and Table Manners are promoted at all times.
A healthy breakfast will be served between 7:30am and 8:30am. Your child will also be offered morning snack, a nutritious and substantial home-cooked meal and afternoon snack. Water will be available routinely throughout the course of the day.
Our meat and fresh fruit & vegetables are delivered daily from our local suppliers.
Our cook is trained in essential food hygiene and is highly experienced in the catering field.
Irish Language
We are creating a unique environment by promoting the Irish Language through conversation, stories, songs and rhymes that will enable our children to become aware of their own identity and gain a valuable insight into our own culture. Our Language Advisor is on hand to offer additional support and advice.
Opening Hours
We open 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
We will be closed on the following holidays:
New Years Day, St Patrick’s Day, Easter Monday & Tuesday May Day, 12th & 13th July Half day Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day (Should any of the above holidays fall on a weekend, then we will close the following Monday)
