The Service
All yoga classes include asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practice) and yoga nidra (relaxation).
General Classes Beginner, Progressive and Intermediate classes are tailored to suit the abilities and requirements of the students. They can be gentle and stress relieving, or challenging and intense. Classes have a strong physical element but also focus on developing inner awareness. Breathing techniques and a guided relaxation are essential parts of the class. Students leave feeling deeply relaxed and re-energised.
Specialist Classes These include a particular series of postures and breathing techniques such as Yoga for Sport (golf, surfing, running), Pregnancy and Senior Citizens.
Yoga for Children Becoming increasingly popular in the UK, children can enjoy yoga by combining stories and games with yoga postures. Coordination, confidence, self-awareness and concentration can improve as they gently stretch their minds and bodies.
Private/Small Group Tuition It might not possible to find a class or location to suit you, or you prefer to be taught one-on-one. A private lesson will focus on your own needs, ability or health concerns.
You could share the cost of a private lesson with one or two friends or colleagues and hold the class at a venue/time that suits you.
Thai Yoga Massage This gentle effective therapy is performed fully clothed on a mat. It combines applied yoga stretches, acupressure and reflexology. Ideal for stiff joints, tight muscles, stress and fatigue.
