As a Registered Childminder my aim is to:

• Provide a safe and caring environment in which the children can develop respect for themselves and others, self-esteem, confidence, independence and a feeling of self-worth
  
  
• Provide an environment inside and outside so that the children can explore, use their imagination, experience success and develop a positive attitude to learning- in a learn through play environment
  
  
• Provide activities that meet the children’s physical, social emotional and cognitive needs, taking into consideration their age, stage and development
  
  
• Maintain a close partnership with parents, sharing information about their child’s progress; this can be used to promote the development of individual children
  
  
• Value children as individuals, their welfare is paramount
  
  
• Give children the opportunity to discover learning through play
  
  
• Encourage and extend children’s abilities to share ideas and feelings in a variety of ways
  

I offer a very personal and individual service. My clients so far have chosen me as they know I can offer not only a loving and caring environment in which their children can develop but also a Christian environment in which their children can grow.  I have been childminding for 3 years now although I have been working with children in my local church for many years previous to this.  I am a registered  childminder with my local social services and with the Northern Ireland Childminding Association.  My opening hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, although these times may be negotiated.  Your contract will specify contracted hours and I can be flexible.
