Tips for your SABp-Web Package

Hopefully you will find the information below useful in helping you get the most from your SABp-Web Package.  If you have any questions just call 028 90929788.

Please remember, you will have 4 weeks to complete your SABp Web Package -  so please have the information ready for your dedicated Account Manager!

Logo Design (if applicable)

• Think about what colours you would like to see used in your logo.  Think about the colour scheme of your office or building, your favourite colours.  It is also just as important to think about what colours you don't like or don't want used, for example, competitors colours etc.
• Do you have a strapline or company motto - something short and sweet that can sum up your business to potential customers.  Often your strapline can explain to people what it is you offer.
• Do you want your logo to incorporate an image of some sort, like an icon - this can be a play on the business name, an image that is related to your line of business or something modern and abstract.  For example, hairdressers may want scissors or a comb used in their logo etc.
• Are there any particular fonts or style of writing you would like used in the logo - remember, it is important customers can easily see and recognise your business name, so think about where you are going to display your logo for customers to see it.
• Other information that can be useful in generating your logo includes what your business does, who are your target customers and what you want your logo to say about you and your business.

Website Design

• As your website will be designed based on your existing logo / brand, we only need you to think about the structure and content of your website.
• This simply means making a list of all the pages you would like on your website.  Make a list of the main pages first - if have selected the three page website, you will probably have about 4 pages (including your Contact Form).   Below is an example of what you should finish with - this will be known as your site map.

• Once you have your site map generated, you should start thinking about the content and images you would like on each page.  Simply start writing the content in a word document with the title of each page at the top.  We recommend about 3 paragraphs of content per page.
• Once you have the content you should begin to source images suitable for your website. 
  • For Package A - only 3 images can be uploaded
  • For Package B - only 9 images can be uploaded 
• And don't forget to look at what competitors say about themselves!
